Hi I have started a new post 1 1/2 days a week term time only and want to check my holiday is right at the moment I have 6 days in my contract, so I am paid for 41 weeks of the year (term time and 4 weeks hol) but I will never work bank hols as the just won't enter the equation so am wondering how many days it should work out to be.

Thanks

I make it 28 days FTE allowance, x 1.5/5 days x 41/52 weeks = 6.62 days so it looks like you are short.

Do you work Mondays? Don't forget May Day Bank Holiday is in term time so that could be where your extra day is coming from.

Hi thanks for your answer no I work Thurs fri so I know there won't be any in term time that would effect me.

I get 4 weeks so that is 14 hrs x 4 weeks = 56 hours, a whole day work for me is 9 hours so I am guessing that as 9 hrs x 6 days is 54 hrs I am about right holiday wise.

Thanks again

Doing it using those hours and the formula for term time workers on this page I make it 4.47 weeks, which cannot be rounded down so most people would pay 4.5 weeks extra.

Looks like you are losing out on half a week (7 hours) pay for the year.
