planning for school aged kids

who can give me ideas on your activities/resources and planning for older children. looking into to this instead of babies. ok with babies but not older ones. any ideas would be great. thanks

mine like drawing, cutting, gluesticks, stencils, and pretend play using props such as a till, bags, purses, dollies, ... and cut up bandages, sling, masking tape in a pretend first aid box. Oh, and dressing up with real cast off clothes, the sparkly the better.

All of the above, hide n seek, big cardboard boxes, kitchen roll tubes (to shoot each other with ) water play (again to shoot each other with) and anything else messy that takes me all night to scrape up. Little bits of lego (to make guns with) and those magnetix things and hama beads which IMO were designed by someone who has never had a child.
