looneytune · 12/01/2010 17:45

This message is for those who know about my situation that has been going on since July. After a long battle with THAT organisation, I'm pleased to say...........

I WON!!!!

Everything now dropped and although I've not had chance to read the 10 page response, I've been informed that it's full of grovely apologies so I'm THRILLED

As I know you don't all come on here often, I'll try and find the list of who emailed me when it all started and will let you know.

But a huge thanks for all the support I've received whilst going through this big battle

Now off to see if there is any champers left over from New Year

LT xx

frakkinaround · 12/01/2010 19:05

I vaguely remember you posting that you had an issue but never knew what it was. Glad it's been resolved.

Katymac · 12/01/2010 19:31

Great

alibubbles · 12/01/2010 19:49

Good news, I'm glad to hear it, but it is outrageous how long it takes to prove your innocence.

looneytune · 12/01/2010 20:31

Thanks everyone. Can't believe how long it took them!!

I've now had a chance to read the 10 page response they sent and it is FULL of apologies Couldn't have wished for a better outcome, just a shame I had to go through 2 complaint processes to get the result I wanted!!

Anyway, pleased it's finally over. I realised after a while that the whole thing had affected me more than I thought! But thanks to my dad's support and great letter writing skills , we've done it and I'm over the moon!!!

goodness me looney what an ordeal

great outcome, hurrah for persitence

looneytune · 13/01/2010 08:04

I know!! They are a bunch of bullies really and could have got away with this. If my dad hadn't been helping me, I would probably have given up ages ago! So it's really unfair on others who don't have someone who can give the time to help!!

Anyway, I've now got to find a home for the box file. Obviously I have to keep a record of all this in my complaints file but the correspondance had to go in a box file in the end. I think I'll do a summary in the main file then refer to the box file. Grrr, I don't have room for all this filing!! lol

Looney!!!

I don't post much any more, but still have a nose around here regularly. I have no idea what your "situation" was, but am pleased that you have a good outcome (or is it "outstanding" or "satisfactory" ??!!)

Well done!!

looneytune · 15/01/2010 18:57

Blondes - I'll pour you a glass when we crack it open, not sure how I'll get it to you though!!

TP - hello In short (it's a very very very long story)......someone made a crazy set of complaints about me, inspector happy it was made up but had to check things to see if meeting welfare requirements, she said not and set me 2 RIDICULOUS actions which meant I'd have a complaint on file, on the net etc. The inspector was a bully, I tried to be nice and asked if I justified why I don't agree, will she look at it. She said 'in theory yes...BUT I'll tell you right now....blabla' and basically was sticking to what SHE thought and that was it. I tried to appeal but they said could only complain. Parents were furious with them, everyone I've spoken to think she must be some mad woman as doesn't make sense. So I did my formal complaint with tons of backup evidence. THEY cocked up with every single deadline they set, they wrote to the complainant lying to them saying I'd taken action when I hadn't, they published lies on the net they admit they shouldn't have etc etc etc. Result of that complaint - 1 action dropped but crap tone to letter and other still stuck. Wrote to stage 2 complaints team who were much better. Did miss a couple of deadlines again but in general better. This week I FINALLY got the result I wanted - I got a 10 page response apologising about everything I'd had to put up with, saying that lessons will be learnt and removing that 2nd action and therefore meaning my complaint will NOT be on file and nothing on the net etc.

So a big fight but worth sticking with!!!

looneytune · 15/01/2010 19:37

Will do And no she didn't but I tell you what, I won't ever be seeing HER again!!! lol Think she got in a bit of trouble over all of this!
