Babysitting rate for central London?

Does anyone know how much the going rate is? and do you add on a taxi fare if it is past a certain time?

Hi,
we book our sitters through a reputable agency and pay £5.50/hour weeknights and £6.25 fri & sat & bank hols.
they get to & fro by their own means.
