So are the Conservatives saying that they feel it is shocking and will be doing something about it if/when they get elected? Don't think that article did mention anything that the Conservatives were going to do.

As election time gets closer, I hope the political parties start thinking about how the current childcare situation in the UK affects voters - working parents need childcare, childcarers need jobs, children need to be happy and well cared for and educated from a suitable age... what age, 5, 7, 2!

Although there are lots of CMs leaving,there are loads of NEW Cms starting. Especially around this area.
There is a glut in some areas where there are not enough clients. Can't believe some areas have hardly any Cms

Yes Nick, noticed they didn't say if they were going to make changes/lessen red tape/ reduce documentation.

but overall we are still losing childminders in the 1000s every year even taking into account the newbies
