If your AP is with you over Christmas what do you put in the stocking?

First time we have had a AP with us over christmas, as we have had Europeans in the past now have an Australian.

Figure it is only fair she has a Christmas stocking to hang up with the kids, suggestions please for suitable stocking fillers for a 21 yo female please, my knowledge is a little limited in this area.

TIA

I have had aps at Xmas on a number of occasions and really enjoy doing a "big girl" stocking. I put in small tubes of hand cream; lip salve; a £5 iTunes voucher (if she likes music); one small candle (in a v safe container if she is going to have it in her room!); a couple of pens; those shaped/coloured post-it notes, you can get them from smiths or tesco in heart, lips and t-shirt shapes; chocolate in various forms; one of those teeny books with funny quotes and poems; satsuma. Apart from the iTunes voucher, everything costs less than £2 and you only needs 6 or 7 things to make it a really nice stocking. If you go to Boots or a big supermarket with a toiletries section you should find some nice small things. If you're feeling creative you can try and find a picture of her with your dcs and put it in a small frame.

nail polish

earrings (if she wears any, from somewhere like claire;s accessories)

hair ties

little chocolate- like thorntons, just a few, I got some little bells from somewhere lindt I think

small notebook- can go in handbag

wacky colour biro- e,g purple or green

lip gel- doesn't have to be coloured, e,g vaseline pot- Boots used to do nice little pots in their natural range

DIOM

Bodyshop have a stocking filler section with loads of fab stuff.

Starbucks card with £5 on it is also a good idea.

Ours will have socks, glove and scarf set, mini box of chocs, choc coins (obviously), a little bag of shower stuff, a mug, um and whatever else I've bought and squirreled away and manage to find again.

And a satsuma!
