Starting primary school-half days-FT working mums

So if you work ft and your dh/partner does and your child starts primary school,how do you get round the half days when your child first starts at primary?

Child minder. Lived round the corner from school. Seemed quite happy with the arrangement - only from Sept - Dec.

Would otherwise have kept ds at nursery if only they could have picked him up after a morning at school (nursery LITERALLY opposite school, but didn't have insurance [hmmm])
