Hi there,

Just wondered what the rate of pay is for a cleaner. We live in North Wales and have a lady who helps out once a week. We pay her £25 but thinking of putting it up after Christmas.

Thank you!!

SK

Hi again,

Thank you for the replies

Ours does about 4 hours. Think the rates are more like they are in the North of England, so will pobably put it up to £30.

Since we got a clothes dryer her workload has dropped considerably as there's so little ironing. She does about 1/2 hour ironing and 3.5 hours cleaning.

Thanks again

SK

SpiritualKnot - can I ask why you posted in 'Childminder, nannies, au pairs etc'?

Wouldn't Good Housekeeping have been more appropriate?
