CM club - risk assessment for outdoors

I need to put together my outdoors risk assessment chart. Do any of you lovely ladies have a template I could pinch?

Do we need to have a risk assessment even if we're just popping to the local shop for some milk/bread and all the mindees are strapped in buggy? It wouldn't surprise me if we do but thought I'd better ask....

many thanks
Fruity x

Yes you now need a risk assessment for every outing as detailed in ofsteds recent update, have a look on the bromley childminders website for lots of downloads

I should have said you can use the same risk assessment but you need to date it when you use it and update any new risks you noticed.

It's a great website, I've used it loads in the past. It doesn't have an outings risk assessment form, just an indoors one.

Thanks Dan, I found that one but it's an Adobe file and I can't seem to open Adobe on my pooter.
If anyone knows how I would be really grateful btw! Everything seems to be Adobe at the moment!

You need to download Adobe Reader, it is a free download from their website, just google Adobe Reader I think the latest version is 9

Fruitbatlings · 05/10/2009 19:21

Thanks badger, I've done it. I had no idea which version of Mac I have but just picked any and it seems to work!
I've downloaded that one on the SouthGlos website so all sorted.
Thanks everyone!
