I've just spent an agonising 2 hours reading through, amending and re-reading our new nannies contract.

I'm too shattered to ask NannyNick any more questions, but I will buy one of those T-shirts Shoshe and one of those NannyNick cupcakes and a homemade lemonade, ta.

Thanks NN - tis done. I've used the standard NannyTax one but just made some alterations given we intend to go into a share with another family down the line, which our nanny knows and hopes we do asap (more money for her!).

I'm so happy as have just had two verbal references that more than lived up to the written references she provided so am feeling like I've made a very good decision.

One thing though, I thought I might offer a cash incentive to her to help us find a suitable nanny share family.

What kind of figure do you think would inspire her? For some reason I was thinking 200 pounds (sorry, no pound sign). Is it too much, or not enough?

I'm looking anyway through websites, schools, mums groups etc, but given the money it will save us once we are in the share, I thought this might be a good idea?
