I hope I'm not breaking any MN rules as I'm not looking to profit at all from posting this.
We had a German girl start with us as our au pair at the beginning of August. Unfortunately, we are having to let her go as our personal circumstances have changed and we can't justify having an au pair any more.
She's 20 years old, speaks excellent English and wants to spend a year here perfecting "English" English before going to university in Germany in Autumn 2010. She can drive (although she hasn't done any driving for us) and loves dogs and other animals.
My 3 children love her and will be devastated when she leaves.
I'm happy to answer any questions and to give a reference.
She's available immediately. We're in East Herts but I'm sure she'd be happy to live in a different part of the country. She wants to attend language classes.
