She is driving me crazy - I can cope with 6 under 5's (mainly under 2) but 1 7yo have me stumped.

After 3 days of half term I'm considering finding another C/Mer for her - as she will be good for them.

I am going beserk

What else can I do?

The goverment should be doing more to help C/M IMO

You do like them expensive janh...and also much as I dislike her tonite (I delivered her and a bag to my mums at 4pm - I'll get her back at 11am tomorrow) I couldn't send her away fro a week....she might realise she can manage without me

It would make sense to help parents more with the costs.

BTW I you campaigning with the NCMA about your own children "costing" you a childminding place and that the gov should give us extra Tax alloances or allow us to claim the childcare elemnet of WFTC to compensate?

Well I don't like them expensive, km, but that was what I found on google!

Yes I agree with you about Tax credits as my 3 are all under 8 so remove 3 of my spaces. When DH and I were arguing about wages I said that if you included how much we would pay for there spaces then my pay would be X amt.

That's a good point.

Thanks for your support last night ladies......I think Acle playscheme is the way to go

I'll speak to someone who send hers there and discuss how she feels about it

I'm thinking maybe 2 days a week - possibly Monday & Friday or Tuesday & Thursday.

I also think her Dad can take her when he goes shopping each week on Wed Mornings and that she should go to Tennis with him at least once a week

That will give me a break
