Hi does anyone know the going hourly rate for childminding in North Herts area?

Ours has just gone up to £4.
Think that is fairly typical.

West Herts £6, one of my newly registtered minders I support is charging £6.25 and has filled all her spaces!

Im in the St Albans area and charge £4.50 per hour. im the cheapest in our village though...!
Ali,is that what the going rate is in St Albans?!!

twinkletoes, all my new minders I support start their fees on £6 an hour. There are some around that charge less if they want to get the business, not a lot though!

There are lots of people looking, I have interviewed 4 people in the last 2 weeks all to start beginning of September - November, but had at least 10 enquiries.

we are very quiet in Redbourn at the moment... very unusual for this time of the year.
I think we need to have a Redbourn discussion to up our fees!
