whats the going hourly rate for a nanny in north hertfordshire

I've been working in london for a few years,so i have a good idea of of what a qualified nanny earns,but what is a reasonable rate to charge in north hertfordshire

Outside of London, I feel it is anything from £8-£11 gross per hour depending on experience for live-out. Some parents may want to pay less, in but I think you should aim for at least £8 an hour Gross given that you are qualified and have experience (assuming you have been nannying in London).

Look at job adverts from the agencies to get a feel for what salaries are currently being listed in the area. www.nannyjob.co.uk is usually quite good for giving an idea of salaries on offer.
