Decent English course in central London (for French au pair) that does not cost the earth?

We're talking to a number of prospective au pairs from France for a start in the autumn.

Everything goes really well until they do a bit of Googling around and realise how eye-wateringly expensive English courses in central London are.

We are prepared to help out financially for hthe right person but £5k for an English class... Gulp.

Has anyone's au pair found a more realistic option? Thanks

Not sure if this is cental enough but our au pair did her English classes here last year and really enjoyed them. They were expensive, but no more than £1000 I think for two sessions per week (think was probably less than that but can't remember).

The centre was literally 2 mins from Angel Tube (Northern Line) and also close to Kings Cross.

Brilliant, thank you.
