Years ago, my sil found work as a nanny and aupair through a special magazine of classified ads related to childcare. ( This was before the internet - gosh she's old !!) Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Do people still use it? Any other tips on where I might find a nanny or nanny share?

Try gumtree, nannyjob and your local netmums.

www.childcare.co.uk

post a new thread on here with your advert

would you accept newly qualified as childcare students just finishing college contact local one and ask them if any would like to forward you their CV - worth a shot

or use an agency recommend www.kidsmatter.uk.com

i think most nannies looking for work look on nannyjob.

parents can advertise their position for about £10 or £20 i think so a LOT less than agency fees
