Hi, my name is Ruth and I am currently a third year student at the University of Sheffield training to be a speech therapist. I am 21 years old and currently looking for work during the summer months as a mother's help, home help, house keeper etc. I am prepared to go anywhere (obviously positions away from home town/uni will have to be live in) and although am not officially qualified have a wealth of experience.

I am CRB checked for my course and for a number of other things - children's camps, children's holiday clubs.

As part of my course I work with children on a 1:1 basis helping them with their speech and communication. I have worked with a range of ages, from nursery to secondary and in both mainstream schools and special education schools.

I have been a camp officer on two children's camps in the past 3 years. One camp was for children aged 10-12 and the other 11-16.

I have been a volunteer in a children's holiday club for ages 3-11 and worked 1:1 with an autistic child on a daiy basis.

I have had sole charge of a girl as a babysitter on a regualr weekend basis for 4 years (she was aged 5 to 8 at the time).

I have had sole charge of 3 children aged 7,10,13 as a babysitter for evening work.

I am trustworthy, reliable, caring and my main interests are singing (classical) reading, swimming, taking walks and cooking.

If you are interested in finding out a bit more I can email you my CV and tell you dates I am available (most of the summer). If you want to get in touch with me I can pass on my email address to you.

Thanks for reading, Ruth.
