CM Club: Weekend staff room.....although I'm unlikely to be here much!

Off to the local childminding conference today, then driving to Berkhamstead so DD (& DH) can compete tomorrow (taking laptop so I can do some EYFS stuff).

Then home to collapse before starting work on Monday morning (& we have a very busy week next week)....why do I do this??

Anyway I hope everyone has a calm and relaxing weekend even if I can't ?

God i bet you wish the money you earn equated to the hours you actually put in KM??

I have had my inspection so all paperwork up to date but need to make appointments with 3 sets of parents to do do reviews etc.

Going to spend today with the dd's and maybe bake or whatever,will be nice to do it with just them for a change. Don't do it often enough sadly

Hope tomorrow goes well. Is it dancing DD and DH do?

Actually if I got to keep £3.50 an hour for the actual time I am with the children I would happy

I don't want to even think about what i actually earn per hour when i take off all my expenses.

Dd1 starts school in August so i can take on another under 5 which will give me a much needed cash injection hopefully!!

Hello all. Hope you all have a lovely weekend. I'm just off to start a major sort out upstairs which I need to have all clear again before 6pm as mindee going for overnight stay. Then if I get some time, I'll be back on my accounts bits to sort out and some weird stuff has been going on - BT AND Tiscali are taking money from me and I don't know why as I shouldn't be with BT anymore

OMG Looney I have BT and Sky taking money from me, left BT two months ago, but they are still billing me!

Crap isn't it!! I'll confess to catching up with accounts (personal ones) last weekend after not doing them since I started back after maternity leave back in September!! I spent nearly 7 hours on them and now everything is logged but I have loads of ???? against things that need to be gone through. The most obvious error being having to pay 2 companies for phone!!! I've not been very well (that's on another thread!) so not feeling able to go through it all to work out what's happened but as soon as I'm able to, I'll sort it out and be on the phone!!!!

KM - Good luck with the dancing. My DD's dancing for today and tomorrow has been cancelled (one by me and one by other people in a group dance, who couldn't be bothered to turn up). DH still away, so I have been putting in some nightshifts to catch up on paperwork.

She got a quarter final & a semi final - she wasn't very impressed - I was tho'

She keeps asking what she will get if she does well in her SATs - I said a french fancie & DH said a Kitkat.....I don't think we are on her wavelength
