a couple of months ago I called ofsted asking about my own dd, who although only 4 will go into ft education in sept. They confirmed that although it wasnt automatically done, i could just apply to them and my early years ration would be changed to allow her to be an 'over 5'.

I need to do a request for the above, but, I also want to request a continuation of care variation.

My question to you is, do I request both on one letter? Or do I wait until my certificate has been altered to allow for dd and then request the variation? I just thought it was less likely to be rejected if they werent doing 2 changes iykwim?

I have done two changes at once and they did manage it, but normally I would only try and get them to do one thing at a time.

They probably won't do variation for your daughter yet, so I would apply for continuity of care variation now and the other one maybe around August time. I'm going to have to do the same for own ds when he starts school too, though have just had 'rising 5' clause addedd to my conditions.

they said that as soon as I knew a date to request it
