Is "sleep" training worth it for 8MO who only comes twice a week?

Have an 8mo starting today who'll only come on Wed & Fridays. His mum usually sleeps with him on the bed at nap time or he falls asleep out in the buggy, I'll probably be out most of the time in the buggy but there'll be days when I don't go out & he needs to sleep, is it worth it getting him to sleep in my house, there'll be a long gap between Friday and Wednesday for him to remember what he supposed to do at that time (sleep)?

(Hope my rambling has made sense?)

Children I find sleep differently for their carers than they do for their parents. So just put him down for a nap when you feel he is tired (such as after lunch).

yes it can work! i second what Nannynick says.

If he's tired he'll sleep. I think you'll probably be ok.

agree that children are different for carers then parents

but if he is used to sleeping in buggy then if you are at yours, then you can put him to sleep in a buggy if he doesnt settle in a cot
