CM CLUB - ADVICE NEEDED RE NURSERY CHILDREN

Most of my mindees are under 3 or over 6 so havent yet had to do a drop off/pick up at nursery.

I recently took a child on who goes to nursery in the morning, then mum drops him off to me later in the day, so im neither dropping or picking him up.

Do I still have to liaise with his nursery or is that only if you do the pick up/drop off at their nursery.

Could someone please clarify for me. Thank you.

It is still good practice to share learning journals and liase with them, yes. I have tried with the nursery myself (I don't do the nursery run myself.. so stopped by on a day off), but they weren't interested... they said they have enough paperwork themselves to do (I understand, altho it is a shame)... and I have kept written proof to show OFSTED I have at least tried to liase with the nursery setting.

hth!
