Am finding the whole new mum thing a bit of a shock (managed to get to six weeks so far - god knows how - no angel baby for me!!)and wondered if anyone knows of the details of any postnatal doulas in the area. I know i am doing this the wrong way round! Think i was a bit naive about how easy (or not) this would be.
I feel a bit at a loss and a hand round the house plus some parenting tips for a week or two just to build up my confidence is what i am looking for. Mum lives abroad and bro has busy family life of his own to cope with. DH is doing what he can to help but all new to him too.
