About me:
I am a qualified British nanny with 4 years experience in the childcare industry. I am a bubbly, passionate and organized person with a great love for children.
I enjoy providing creative experiences for children, encouraging them to learn through their senses and enjoy the environment around them.
Although I have always felt I have had a natural affinity with children, during my training I have picked up on many different skills that are vital for childcare. For example, potty training, weaning, tutoring, planning activities as well as practical baby experience.
I understand that flexibility is vital where children are concerned and am very happy to help out with as much as possible, e.g. running errands, grocery shopping, walking dogs etc whilst children are at school or nursery..
I am also happy to travel at short notice.
Experience
I have 4 years experience looking after children ranging from 3 months old - 12 years old. I have professional experience in play centres, schools, many different nurseries including Montessori nurseries, and private homes. I also have overseas experience working as part of a childcare team in St Anton, Austria.
Qualifications
I trained privately at the Chiltern College Reading, where I gained a 'CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education' and 'The Chiltern Certificate' I also hold full certificates in Paediatric First Aid,
Anaphylactic Shock Awareness,
Food Hygiene.
I also have 8 Gcses?s that I studied for at The Kingsley School, Leamington Spa.
Availability
I looking for live in work - preferably in London but will consider other parts of the country and overseas. I am ready to start working ASAP but happy to wait for the right family.
