Does anyone know if I CAN'T have latex gloves in my Childminding first aid kit?

I was advised on First Aid course not to, as children may have an allergy to the latex that you don't know about - and that parents may not know about either. I bought my kit off the NCMA webby - it wasn't cheap but I got sick of hunting the shops for what was needed

Thanks underpaid, I take it there are no latex gloves in the NCMA one?

If you go on the ncma website it also has a 'permissions' form which lists the contents of their own kit - yet another form for parents to sign

Hi, not a cm but I have a latex alergy! You can buy really good vinyl gloves that are just as good as latex ones. I buy mine in sainsburys, they are not medical grade but I'm not sure they have to be. Boots will probaby have them too.

Ps, they are really useful for messy jobs too, like rinsing pooey pants etc...
