Tell me what your 2/3 year old mindee's play with

I just wondered what everyone else's 2 and 3 year old mindees like to play?

Obviously I know to follow their interests and I plan activities and play opportunities but they also have free time to play whatever they want. Of course, being toddlers they want to play with their favouite things alot of the time i.e. cars/dolls/trains (which is fine!) I am just wondering what is a particular hit in your setting before I invest in some new bits and pieces.

Duplo and megabloks

second the duplo, especially the people and vehicles. If you go on the Lego website you can get sets of community vehicles, multicultural people etc.

K'nex (the big stuff)
Lego (the middle sized stuff)
Kitchen - all the time, constantly
Dressing up - al the time but needs a bit more of your input
Books, books & more books
Trains, wooden & plastic(happyland?)
Stacker toys (but not really sorters)

We just borrowed a large Noah's Ark which is fab & very popular (but I might not buy it iyswim - it's great to borrow)
