One of my mindees parents have started a new job and has arrived today with info about the care 4 scheme that her company uses to pay for childcare. I have never used any sort of childcare company payment scheme before and was wondering are they alot of hassle? Has any of you been paid by care 4 and are they reliable and on time every month. Also the amount I am paid each month varies depending on hours done so is this doable iyswim? Please give me your stories both good and bad to help me decide as I don't have a clue and don't want to join up if it is yet more paperwork and hassle. (This family are always excellent payers and alsways on time if that makes any difference to your answers) TIA

Hi i have used care4 in the past and found it very easy and straight forward. I am always happy to accept payment via these schemes as it goes straight into the bank!

I would definately recommend using them!

One of my parents a few years back used this scheme through her work.

I had no problems getting the money from them at all (I do think the parent has to phone them to organise payment each month IIRC) and it went straight into the bank.

IIRC, there was a max per month that they paid out, and I just billed the mother for the rest.

You can also do it all online which makes keeping tabs on it much easier

I have a family where the Dad pays some via care4 and the mum uses another agency. I usually get my care4 payment first
