Hi

Can anyone explain how settling in periods work....are they before contracts are signed or not?
I'm new to all of this so any advice would be great!!

Thanks

I have a signed contract with new parents, which states the settling in period on it. The settling in period can be ended without either party giving notice.

I have 2 settling in periods

Both after the contracts (& the first months money) are sorted

  1. The settling in period on the NCMA contract - which is 4 (or 6 or 8) weeks when you or the parent can cancel without notice

  2. the settling in period which is 4-6 weeks before the contract officially starts; where we start with an hour & gradually build up to full days, as long as I'm not too full, a parent doesn't pay for these
