I have the elusive 'security token' but can't for the life of me find the actual form on the ofsted website!

I was all motivated to get it started and now i'm just p*ed off with the whole thing!!

Why do they make it so difficult?

Try here
login and then it appears on the left if I recall. I couldn't login at first but the helpline sorted that.
Be warned... save regularly as it seems to timme out and you loose everything.
Good luck

If you're anything like me your motivation will quickly turn to despair when you start to fill it in!! . Repetitive and very, very long . I have my inspection next week and have spent many a night trying for the life of me to think what to write - then I lose the will to live and reach for a glass of vino! . Perhaps it would be easier to complete if I had the vino before I try to fill it in???

Its worth doing - though not compulsory (told that by inspector herself!) - and it supposedly cuts down how long the inspection lasts .

Good luck!

My inspector phoned to book the inspection and asked if I had done the SEF. I said no, and that I had had a quick look at it but been totally daunted by it. She said it's very repetitive (even the inspectors think it's badly designed) but don't let that put you off - if you think you've already said something just put "see number whatever above".
