CM Club: Damning with faint praise

This article from The Guardian shows the misery that Ofsted inspectors can cause. The article is about teachers, but I think the same sort of thing also applies to CMs.

we spend virtually every waking moment doing XYZ because that is what OFSTED would want.

i am due my inspection in June and I am already worried. i was given satisfactory last time and i certainly don't want it again - yet it is supposed to mean that we have adequately reached the National Standards. but it no longer means that in real terms, does it?
