So....no sunshine, we have fog

New parent plus an ad-hoc extra today - so not sure if we will manage toddler group

DH got his inspection report which has us living in the wrong village but apart from that he got mostly Good with satisfactory on the 3 about self reflection & evaluation.

Mine hasn't surfaced yet

Lovely sunny day. Back to work. Done school run, now just waiting for little ones to arrive.

mumlove · 19/03/2009 13:17

Afternoon.

Have lovely clear blue sky and sunshine .

Went out for coffee and cake with a cm friend this morning who also has today off. It was nice to just sit and talk without having to keep a look out .

Katy - hopefully you will get some sun back.

Afternoon all. Haven't been to group this week, just been doing lots of outdoor things instead which is LOVELY This morning we've played in the garden playroom etc. and now 3 mindees napping and just my now 9 month old ds2. Had my lunch already (VERY early for me as never get round to it usually) so I'm going to feed ds2 (late as was napping early) then get some washing on whilst kiddies napping. Hoping they'll behave better this afternoon, god they're little devils atm!! Mindees are 14 months, 23 months and just turned 2 yrs and all 3 are at it with snatching and shouting/pushing/pulling etc. 2 older ones are the worst and already i can see ds2 is having little tantrums! lol It's funny that the parents drop them off saying they are pleased to be working as the behaviour is terrible....yeah THANKS!!! I get all 3 of them at it!! I keep getting kicked by the 2 yr old and the clever girl seems to know that kicking me in the tummy right now is painful thanks to my new piercing lol

Sounds like a plan

Katy - how long did you wait for your report? I wish I'd found out exactly what I got what on rather than 'an overall good with some elements outstanding'.....last time I knew what I got in what section and now I've got to wait

TimorousWeeBeastie · 19/03/2009 14:20

nomoreamover · 19/03/2009 14:28

looneytune · 19/03/2009 14:40

Yeah, I agree with the SEF helping lots, my inspector commented on this and was very impressed (thanks to Katy for some tips with understanding some of the bits! ). I sort of wish my inspector DID look at all my paperwork but she really wasn't interested in all that. Oh well. Very well done to you

Numberfour · 19/03/2009 14:50

hello everyone
i started my SEF eventually
should be doing it now seeing that i only have one mindee here and he is still sleeping
always seems to be so much to do. i am having one of those days (weeks!!) where i am overwhelmed by how much i have to do.

plus i have to go to class tonight and i have first aid training all day saturday this and next week...........

Numberfour · 19/03/2009 14:50

oh sorry!!! please excuse my rudeness!

well done to nomore and KM! that's such good news!

mumlove · 19/03/2009 18:44

nomore - congratulations.

no4 - I am still trying to do my sef, I write a couple of words and close it up again. I try and write something good but it never comes out right!! Oh I wish I knew what ofsted wanted on it, it's so confusing.

nomoreamover · 19/03/2009 19:36

wonder if there's a way I can post a link to mine?.....
