Did you pay for the course yourself or did you get it subsidised?
If so, how?

Thanks

I'm waiting for the next one to come up in our training brochure, can't remember if it's a paid for one in our area. It's all down to your local council who provides courses (well, it is for us)

all of our courses are free through our local council - actually they have just given us a £350 training bursary too

Most of ours are but things like Food Hygiene etc. we have to pay £15. Again depends on how your local council works

Lots of special schools offer Makaton courses, and may be able to offer free places.
