Any Childminders attended any good courses, they could recommend?

I started Childminding last September. I have attended so many courses and meetings. This will enhance your portfolio. I attend two Childrens Centre in my area in North Watford. This is a good opportunity to find out what is happening for childminders and parents also.

Makaton and Food Hygeine (sp?) were good for me.

i found the course on completing the SEF useful. and the DHC was very useful but that took 15 months and a lot of time!

there is so much training available for CMs at very highly subsidised rates that any CM who passes up on it, is not doing themselves any favours!

parents like to see your comittment to professional development.
