I am doing a little research

What can anyone tell me?

is that different from being a nanny or a childminder then?

Yes it is where 4 or more people work together (previously as childminders)

Currently if only 3 people work together they can be childminders but 4 must be "Childcare on Domestic Premises"

Do you mean care for over 8's?

Do the regs differ much from being a nursery?
Even if Ofsted don't call it a nursery, local town planning might.

Isn't this about what you covered before EYFS went live? The issue with there being more than 3 people providing childcare at the same time?
Has NCMA got Ofsted to agree that it is more than 3 people at the same time rather than more than 3 people registered to provide care on the premises?

Three at the same time is fine - so I'm OK

Someone has asked me if it would be viable for them & I am trying to find stuff out for them
