Mother's Help: 3rd child on the way - what do I need?

Hi,

I am expecting my 3rd child in May (already have 6 and 3 year old boys) and would like some help particularly over the summer holidays. I am undecided whether to get a mother's help full time (perhaps for better continuity for the older ones) or whether part time will be better (less intrusive). Any advice?

Do you have a university near you? Maybe a student doing something child-related (Early Childhood Studies, Education, Child Psych. etc) who could help out part time in term time and more full time in the summer holidays?

When I was a uni student I did a job just like this - I helped out as and when I was needed and around my drinking studying so it was a win win situation for both of us. Consider a college (ie NVQ or A level student too if they are mature and seem responsible) - they'd love some part tim ework and will probably be around just when you need them (ie after school and in the holls!)
