we have a s max

it is 7 seats - 2 in boot that fold down to have a massive boot

or you can use all 7 seats and have smaller boot, but still enough room for a double buggy

or 6 seats up and room for buggy and huge dog

renault espace....love them!

im a nanny and drive a landrover discovery.....its huge has 7 seats and still roon 4 double buggy in boot! Its suprisingly easy to drive as well.....seeing as though it looks like a tank!

I have a 8 seater Mazda Bongo, you an fit 7 full size child seats a double and single buggy in the boot and everything but the kitchen seat under the seats

Best car ever for a CM (and it is a diesel Automatic).

!

I like the look of Grand Scenic
and MB has an S Max which she says is very good

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/03/2009 07:41

blonde googled a bongo

looks likes a tank

SillyMillysMummy · 07/03/2009 08:30

Depends on your budget New discovery is the best car ever imo, If i ever earn enough (or win the lottery) I will be investing in a couple but until then I dont have 25k to spend

For now I have an old Galaxy, takes 5 full size seats in the back and I generally keep 2 doubles and a single buggy wedged in the boot

fyi grand scenic is a smaller build to the people carriers like espace, galaxy, alhambra etc, if you want something that looks similar but with more space try citroen grand picasso

alot of Mazda bongos are a grey import so be a little careful when buying as they can have some strange things

is obviously regressing to her past in car sales ]

i have a lwb isuzu trooper- 7 seats and room in the boot for a bebecar stylo full size pram plus a mutsy and a loola so unless your double is the size of a small car you'd have loads of room!

tigersmum · 07/03/2009 11:25

I have an 8 seat Peugeot 807 with room in the boot for 2 doubles and a single. Also had a mazda mpv which I loved but needed an wxtra seat. Would deffo reccommend any mazda.

no idea about double buggy space, but sliding rear doors mean you can park in car parks and get children in and out without needing three spaces to yourself.

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 07/03/2009 14:43

Toyota Emina - very nice as you can have the back two rows of seats facing each other which is nice for the children to talk to each other, plus gives you more room for maneouvre when loading up.

Loving the Bongo, looks a bit mad!

looneytune · 07/03/2009 15:28

I love my VW Sharan and it fits......wait for it........both my triple buggy AND single buggy on top with all 7 seats being used. But then again, a lot of these cars will. If you've got lots more money than I had to spend then there are lots out there to choose from but I'm happy with my cheap car - would love sliding doors though!
