CM Club:I'm after a multi-lingual Welcome poster - ideally with sign language too - can I download a free one?

Hmm, not sure schools always have them don't they! and children's centres. Ring family/children's information service and ask them, they may have a free one for you.

Posters are £1.99 each or 4 for £5-not too bad

BritishSignLanguage.com; An Online Guide to British Sign Language

Why not go on this site and teach the children you look after to sign welcome. Take a photo of them doing it, laminate and put on your wall. Much better than a bought one. The kids will own it.

I also have made an alphabet book for the kids where every letter is of the kids doing something. The kids love it.

KatyMac · 23/02/2009 16:02

I couldn't find a sign for Welcome in my Makaton books, so used Hello instead - which I think would be acceptable.

nannynick · 23/02/2009 16:37

Little Linguist sells the Welcome and Goodbye posters. Alas without the Makaton sign addition. You could always just print the Makaton sign and stick it on over one of the pictures!
