We've got our place on the market and will probably move into rented accommodation for a while when we sell. However, I'm really nervous as I don't want there to be any time lost between moving out of here and working from the new place.
How much notice do Ofsted need to re register me from the new premises?
I can't afford to take any time off work and I don't want to inconvenience the parents either - especially as I'll be taking 4 weeks off for mat leave in April.

Is it pretty straight forward to register from a new premises? Or will I need to jump through hoops?

OFSTED will have to come and inspect your new home setting.... just let them know the urgency and that you need to offer as uninterrupted care as possible for the kids. Why don't you give them a ring and see what they think timewise?
