CM CLUB - Mindee's sibling has Chicken Pox - quick question.........

I have a adhoc holiday only mindee who is due to attend next week. Just been informed the sibling has Chicken Pox. Mindee has already had it so SHOULD be ok.

IMO it's ok to have mindee as long as THEY themself don't have it. Just wanted to see if everyone else thinks the same?

yup - i'd be the same, mindee may be carrier but not sure how it works! If mindee doesn't have it, let them come!

I spoke to my parents and made them aware of the situation and told them to watch out for any signs of it and all of them said they wouldn't mind their child getting it and said NOT to exclude if he gets it. So i would let them come. (oh yeah i might try and get to Califonia Park if it's ok with everyone else)

I would accept mindee as you don't know if anyone at groups you go to come out with chicken pox as they are infectious before the spots appear.

I still haven't had them, even though my 2 older sisters did, some of my mindees over the last 15 yrs and my own DD (we also had 3 chicken poxs parties).

I would let them come too..........NOT fair I wanna come to cali park as it happens I'm far too many miles away and have 8 dc's for best part of the day anyway nevermind we will enjoy doing salt dough, painting and doing mothers day cards!

The park is only about 77 miles away!! I do like to dream.

LOL, mumlove, I did think it was a tad far for you. And yes, shame I couldn't meet up with you when we went camping - it was a nightmare though, terrible weather!!
