Nanny / nanny-share wanted in SE24

DS is 3 months old and I am going back to work full time in mid June (when he will be 7 months). Although we have a place at nursery which I organised last year, now I have DS I think that at 7 months he would benefit more from being at home with a nanny. DH and I also have demanding jobs that can require longer hours so would like the flexibility that a nanny would bring.

Does anyone have thoughts on when we should start the search for a nanny, whether it's worth using agencies, or any other thoughts / advice?

Also, if you are a nanny and will be available, please get in touch. Similarly if you are a mother / father looking for a nanny-share and think we might suit each other, please shout.

Thanks all.

Hi there,
You can start looking for a nanny now if you like. Just remember to advertise your start date. I have no real experience working with agencies but I think you have to pay a fee to them. There's several places you can advertise privately:
www.nannyjob.co.uk
www.gumtree.com
www.nannyshare.co.uk
www.thenannysharers.co.uk
Ot her people will be able to give you more tips.
I'm based in Charlton SE7 and currently looking for a nanny position If you'd like me to send you my details feel free to contact me at [email protected]
