I don't think anyone has them? Usually its the parents who decide if they are going to drive to the CM or not. So if they can't get to you because of the snow then you should still get paid.
Our pre-school was only opened for one day this week (Monday) and since then it has been closed because of Health and Safety, but we don't have a bad weather policy either.
Better start drawing one up! But what do you say

I decided this morning school runs not an option as on fri i have to use the car...I explained that I'd done a risk assessment and felt it was too dangerous.

I won't make a bad weather policy - just rely on my health and safety policy which says that I will not do anything which I belive will endanger or put the children at risk - even if the parents ask me to.

Good answer. You've done a risk assesment of the "outing" and if its too dangerous then there is nothing wrong with that.
I would rather my childminder used their common sense!
