Considering nanny share - any advice, please?

Hello

Some friends have suggested a nanny share and I wondered if anyone had any advice, what pitfalls to avoid etc.

Friends have two DS, one has just started school, other 3yo. My DD starts the same school in September and my DS is 7 months old. My DC currently go to nursery, which we have been delighted with, but it is very expensive. Also, I will have to find another childcare provider to collect DD from school for at least 3 days each week.

The thinking is that a nanny share would enable my DS to be looked after with another child and both older children could be collected from school and looked after until I finish work. Friends live across the road, so distance isn't an issue.

Any thoughts, anyone?
