Advice on what everyone charges for shift workers??

Hi I need some advice
I have a parent coming round whos need 3 days a week on a rota type basis so they wi11 be different days each week but i wi11 know in advance? how do i go about charging for this as i wi11 need to keep a space free a11 week!

I would charge them for the 3 days they need and then 1/2 fees for the rest of the hours they need (the other 2 days).

I agree - full fee for the 3 days and then half fee retainer to keep the space available the other 2 days....same as you would for a term time only contract

I am a shift worker and thats what my cm charges me and i am more than happy with that agreement. If I put ds in a nursery then i would have to pay for the 5 days regardless so i would expect no less from a childminder. Hope it goes well.
