Morning

No itchy scratchy, so I think I am in the clear! (famous last words)

Petrified of the school run in the snow and ice. DH drove me yesterday and made supper. Wonder what he is up to??????

Does not help DH calling from Jo'burg complaining that it is raining so they cant sit by the pool

Hi, shoshe

My dad and his partner says it has cooled down in Cape Town to a lovely 30 degrees.

But I would rather be here (although I am a Daddy's girl and miss him a lot )

morning!

no.4 you had to say the i word didn't you, now i'm scratcy again! arg! tee hee!

Dd's school is open despite 2 inches of fresh snow ontop of the ice we still had. pushing the triple buggy up the hill will be even more fun today! coming down was harder, didn't stop sliding! Dh has gone off to school but not heard if open or shut, think open as its east of here and the snow lies west apparently!

rain predicted later - hopefully it'll melt the ice...............

Shoshe · 05/02/2009 07:42

Would you not go back o live there No.4?

DDIL dosnt want to although DS would love to, but as DDIL says he has only seen SA as a holiday, not there to live, she coms from Witbank, where at the mo they have had a lot of problems.

Morning everyone

Last nights snow missed us but bournemouth 1 side got it and shoshe the other side had it, we had lots of rain instead!

Paperwork to do today.

KatyMac · 05/02/2009 08:43

I am meeting with the children's centre (in the primary school) to discuss EYFS planning & recording for children we share......as the main setting they were supposed to contact us - but they didn't so I am now running round trying to contact each setting we have share children with quoting P10 para 1.16 part 1 at them all

It is such hard work

No snow here (none since Monday actually)
No Nits either ()

Plus I have an accreditation meeting at 11 to do obs for my early years funding

Today is not a good day

hennipenni · 05/02/2009 09:44

No nits here!

Both schools closed so have my own 3 at home, two mindees cancelled as one set of parents school has closed and the other can't get her car up or down her road so just have littlest mindee who walks to me anyway.

Loads and loads of the white stuff and it's still snowing heavily, so we are just going to go out in the snow and then come home to have hot chocolate and hot cross buns.....yummy

nomoreamover · 05/02/2009 10:09

manic few days here - since "the" phone call....although she is now running about a week behind apprently on account of the snow...suits me :-)

Mindees are listening to the gruffalo story CD - transfixed its so cute!!

FIrst school run today went really well - took less than 5 mins!
