Paid half of it off, and still have half to pay, and have just realised the date! Oops

DH says yes you can if you are already a registered user of Government Gateway. If you're not registered, as far as I remember, it took about 14 days for my DH's log on to come through. DH also says you could always try ringing your local tax office to make a payment by debit/credit card.

If they have sent you a bill though you should be able to pay it through your banks online banking system as an alternative (if you use online banking)...same way you would an electric bill etc.

I went through HM site to BillPayif anyone else needs to get their bill paid too.
