Help! I would like to set up an au pair agency. I have just been looking into professional indemnity insurance, the quotes seem to be around £450 per year for a start up business. Has anybody any recommendations of insurers I might contact?

Thanks very much

Try Morton Michel - not sure if they do agencies

Do you have to register as an employment agency too?

Thanks very much. I haven't thought about having to register as an employment agency. Does anyone know whether you would have to do that as an au pair agency (given that au pairs only get pocket money and not a proper salary)?
