I am returning to work, part-time, and I am going through the options re childcare.

I have 2 in school, so they are no problem.

But, I have one in nursery and, in an ideal world, I would love to get someone to collect her at 11:30 and take her to our house and then look after her there until I get home at 2pm-ish.

Do I need to get a qualified person??

What do I need to advertise for?? This isn't really an au pair or nannies job is it??

tbh i think you may find it hard to find someone for 3hrs at lunchtime - unless that person has a nanny job where children are at school all day

are they any cm at the nursery who could pcik up and take to their house?

maybe an older lady would be what you need

I think a nanny who only has children before and after school would be interested, maybe someone who works for a family where the youngest has just started school this year and so their hours/wages may of changed or their boss doesn't mind them having another child during the time theirs are at school

A cm may be interested in this kind of job. You are picking up dd way before the school run starts so it shouldn't interfere too much with a cm's daily routine, esp if they have to get back home for lunch and afternoon naps etc.

Thanks all - I did think about a cm, but I know alot of them in this area. I have seen them out with kids when I have been with mine and there aren't many of them that I would want my dd to be with.

There is one that I really like but I dont think that she wants anymore kids but I am going to ask her next week anyway!

Thanks again for your help

if you know a good cm they are the people to ask for recommendations.
