second one ,the rider looks more fun for a toddler.what about a smorf?(spelling)

mumlove · 21/01/2009 20:55

Thats the buggy pod isn't it?
If it is I have been told it doesn't fit the P & T's. Will go and have a search.

Buggy boards DO fit the p&t according to their fitting instructions - just not very well . Have you tried it?

Fizzylemonade · 21/01/2009 21:05

The Swiss Strolli looks fun but I had 2 friends who had them and it would depend on the age of the child. One didn't use it in the end as felt it was unsafe and bought a buggyboard which I know doesn't fit on your P & T's. The other hardly used it, again stating they felt it was a bit wobbly.

Which magazine slated it stating that it wasn't as stable as it looks especially when going up and down curbs.

I think the 15 months bit is a far fetched!

I like the Tug but it seems to sit way behind you when you are walking, plus they seem very low down.

Oh dear, I don't seem to be much help do I?

Post on Products as lots of people seem to have P & T's (do love them!)

mumlove · 21/01/2009 21:05

But I have been told that they don't fit with both seats on in toddler mode.

The thing with the Tug being low to the ground and the wheels everyone has also said that about the p & t's but the children I mind have never touched the wheels and if any of them did I would just explain to them about not doing it.

I love the idea of the Tug tbh, get one

Washersaurus · 21/01/2009 21:36

have a look at the fitting guide on their site, it shows it in doubles mode. I think you have to use extender arms though. Either way it will be expensive, why not just buy a new triple buggy?

Washersaurus · 21/01/2009 21:39

here

Washersaurus · 21/01/2009 21:42

The TUG looks interesting too, difficult to tell without having seen one in RL - it looks like it trails behind quite a way!

mumlove · 21/01/2009 21:47

I have the basic buggy board on my single small buggy and I don't like using it because I get back ache standing at a funnt angle.

Didn't get on with the tug on my P&T....

The connector is just a bit of rucksack strap and the handle falls out of it all the time. It bumps into the back of your legs and if the one in the seat puts its feet down or hands out or joggles about it is impossible to pull. It also doesn't follow you round corners well. so catches on walls and trees and is hard to bump up kerbs...mine lasted a week!!!

I use a buggyboard maxi on my P&T if you have a sport you don't need the extenders if you have the E3 you do...if ok to push (Im only 5ft 2") and manage ok with the buggyboard on the back...certainly much much easier than the tug!!!

Washersaurus · 22/01/2009 08:00

Just out of interest littlestars, do you have the buggy board on with the doubles seat? I have a board that I use on my maclaren and thought I would need extenders to put it onto my P&T

mumlove · 22/01/2009 08:19

Thankyou.
I think they are both crossed of the list.

Will dig out my old buggy board and ask DH if he can make new longer metal arms for mine (does the childs head go inbetween the handle bar and me?) if not will have to get another side by side and then put buggy board on 1 side.

mumlove I have a phil and teds with a buggy board on it, if that helps

SillyMillysMummy · 22/01/2009 09:53

and yes it does fit on my sport with the doubles seat on, not ideal but useable

mumlove · 22/01/2009 11:17

There is a shop not to far from me that sells the buggypod so going to phone them and see if I can go and look at it.

washersauras- yes I have it on with the doubles seat on.

The childs head has to go your side of the handle.

HTH

Washersaurus · 22/01/2009 14:30

Thanks littlestars & SMM, I'm glad mumlove posted know - I have often wondered if it would fit (just in case I decide to have a 3rd you understand )

Washersaurus · 22/01/2009 14:31

*now, not know! (in my defence I have been awake since 3am with a very poorly DS2)
