Hi, I've been a cm for the past 3+ yrs and have an unexpected vacancy for an immediate start for an under 5. I've done all the 'expected' training courses (first aid, child protection, food hygiene, etc) and have also passed the Diploma in Home-Based Childcare (grade A) and have gained the NVQ3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development. I've done training on the Early Years Foundation Stage too, which all childcarers have to follow from September 2008. I have 3 children of my own aged 18, 15 and 4 years, so though haven't been minding too long, I have lots of experience in all ages of children!! Please post if you would like more info. x
