Ad hoc childminding / nannying?

Hi
My DDs (3 and 1)go to a great childminder 2 days a week, but I've just taken on a temporary job which may require more hours on an ad hoc basis. My childminder is fully booked so won't be able to take them and I have no family nearby, so I need to look for an alternative. Do some childminders and nannys offer "ad hoc" occasional childcare? Obviously if I was going to use someone for this I would send my children for a few "settling in" sessions at the beginning to get them used to the setting / person. If people do offer these typoes of services how would I find them, and does anyone by any chance know anyone who does it in the Winchester / Basingstoke area?

try [www.gumtree.com]] or www.netmums.co.uk

i advertise on my local netmums and get a lot of my work through there, as well as through word of mouth

good luck
