Hey ladies.

My sister is a third year psychology student who is going to be in Bristol from May to September.

L has lots of experience (4+ years) of working with and caring for a child who has autism. This includes sole charge care of this child and his sibling.

In order to expand her experience she'd like to gain work from May - Sept with a child or children who have A.S.N.

Excellent checkable references available from parents she has worked for, clean disclosure and full clean driving license.

Anybody looking for something like this, or thinks they know someone who might be?

Anyone in Bristol know of anywhere that recruits just for the summer period i.e. offers short term contracts? Childcare is her first preference but open to ideas!

Thanks

Thanks Riven, where are they based? The only problem I can foresee for her in relation to using an agency would be potentially having to meet them before May, as I'm not sure she'll be able to.

Although, she may have arrangements inplace to do this, haven't asked and she isn't in.

It's another option tho!!

I'm in Bristol and Tinies have 2 offices here in the centre. Might be worth posting on gumtree too?

Thanks!!

Will send her in that direction.

Hi,

My name is claudette and I am a mum of a 3 year old boy who has autism. He has no challenging behvaiour and is on an verbal behaviour intervention home based play programme. He has made fantastic progress helping him devleop better play skills, listening, makaton and social interaction with adults and children. He has come on leaps and bounds in 7 months. I think if she is interested I would be very keen for her to provide childcare for him and she could also have free training about the programme which I think would be of interest to her based on her degree. If you contact me offline I am happy to give you my details and talk to her about it.
